Keyboard stand

A teak keyboard stand for JLA’s River House, with a folding lid that becomes a music stand.

JLA conceived of a piano enclosure that also functions as a music stand when unfolded. The piece matches the teak panels and furniture throughout the River House.

We worked with JLA to resolve the hinge geometry so the lid folds into a music stand, and fabricated the finished piece.
